LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE LECTURER POSITIONS

The Landscape Architecture Program at the University of California, Davis invites applications for temporary lecturer positions during the 2008-2009 academic year. The following courses are expected to be available for 2008-2009 pending availability of funding: LDA 2, Place, Culture and Community; LDA 21, Landscape Drafting and Visualization; LDA 23, Computer Graphics for Landscape Architecture; LDA 30, History of Landscape Architecture; LDA 50, Site Ecology; LDA 61: AutoCAD for Landscape Architecture; LDA 70: Basic Landscape Design Studio; LDA 191: Workshop in Landscape Architecture (advanced landscape design studio). The percentage of appointment varies depending on number and type of courses assigned. Qualifications required include appropriate professional degree (MLA, MA, Ph.D., etc.) and/or equivalent training and professional experience with demonstrated teaching ability and experience. The landscape architecture major at UC Davis includes 85 undergraduate students admitted through a highly competitive portfolio review process. Salary is commensurate with experience and course assignments. The closing date for applications is May 23, 2008.
