I am a landscape researcher and designer interested in urban hydrology and green infrastructure. My research focuses on examining the relationship between urban form and urban resilience, mainly through the lens of nature-based solutions. My current dissertation centers on investigating the influence of road network topology on the street flooding risk in New York City (NYC). This research analyzes the correlation between various urban road network topology factors and the risk of street flooding, utilizing NYC 311 complaint data and GLMM-Mixed Effect Model. The intended outcome of my future research endeavors is to contribute significantly to the broader discourse on the interplay between urban planning and hydrology, with a particular emphasis on landscape spatial patterns.
