Calin Mason, MA student in Geography, working for Fresh Focus

Calin Mason has been working for Fresh Focus, a program that reduces food waste at the farm and works on food insecurity on campus. They provide food for the pantry, the EOP, and various cultural/resource centers.

2019 UC Davis Nu Iota Chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon International Geographical Honor Society Initiation

On Wednesday, June 12th, the UC Davis Nu Iota Chapter of the Gamma Theta Upsilon International Geographical Honor Society initiated its second cohort of new members. To be eligible for GTU, initiates must have completed at least 3 Geography courses, have a GPA of at least 3.3 in those courses, and be in the top 35% of their class. With this initiation of 16 new members, our chapter is now 30 members strong, with members from both the Geography and Community Development Graduate Groups. Congratulations to all!
